Engine Oils

I'm on Motul. I'm pretty happy with it. If RP is better please convince me. Anyone made the switch from Motul?

i guess engine oils do the job if there all over the $80 range

i need advice on the gear box in my gts4

im pritty sure its a rb25 gear box but i knw theres a transfur case involved

i use the new castrol edge oil its not a bad price either like $50 for 4 litres.

Royal Purple comes in 10w-40 mate.

85 bucks a bottle from autobarn. 5L

Or if your lucky like me you get Royal purple, top of the range coolant and a oil filter for 10.68 because the girl missed a key stroke on the eftpos machine

didnt even know till a few days later.

royal purple is really runny...

when i pull out the oil stick, i cant get a good reading....coz the oils so damn thin!!!

and its all shmick.

The oil prices are expensive, performancelub.com sells them a little cheaper but you need to pay for postage

i brought the oil bible from the internet and it was expensive and has 300pages and tables on oils and the best ones running through tests and they know that if you want a long lasting engine the best in Amzoil and redline (same people make them) royal purple running second

i recommended people buying the oil bible its worth a read .... a long read but i know amazingly 99% more than what i did, best money spent on the car so far

due to just finding out my GTS-4 has a totaly different engine than a GTS and have one for sale atm for $600 in the for sale forums
