I want to change my battery. I have a 3 month old battery in my old car which I want to use to replace the jap battery in my R33 (which was dead due to car not being started in ages). Question is, I think the new battery I have might be too big to sit upright, can I rest it on its side to fit it in the R33 or not a good idea? Battery is fully sealed unit btw.

Ev.

yeh it is sealed. has caps but they cant be removed and has a clear indicator on the top to show battery condition. Nonetheless ill do a trial fit today on my day off while i install my head unit into it too.. thanks for the replies hey.

Thats not a sealed battery , only Gelcell batteries can mount on their sides.
