Floorboards + Brickwork

Hey guys, a quick couple of Q's:

Does anyone here have any experiance with laying floorboards direct to concrete? If so, anyone intrested in helping me lay 30m2 of jarrah floorboards in my new place?

Also, I am looking to build a largish bar in one of the rooms out of bricks, also looking for volenteers in this feild.
