those that i listed are nismo items :)

oh yah, i saw those too on my quest to replace those fugly orange ones. lol

asked my friend, nengun is alright but might take a while to deliver...

heres another site that sells them that my friend recommends (hes bought a few performance parts from them, good delivery etc)

http://perfectrun.com.au/performance%20par...dicatorlens.htm

But keep in mind, nengun and perfect run need to include shipping costs etc, on top of the ad. price.

Someone get some smoked ones and take photos. :D

mate, what's the colour of your car - sorry, could only read first page, but it all depends... I would say smoked ones for brighter/lighter colours, such as white, blue, etc... and clear ones for darker colours such as black, grey and navy blue etc...

Personally, I like the clear indicators with the orange globe... looks trendy but yet visible. From far away, the smoke ones can be a bit hard to see... as when it blinks, when it's in the 'off' cycle it's really hard to see...

my car's black (it's in the thread title).. thanks John, got any more piccies by any chance? I'd almost decided on smoked but the clears on black look pretty sweet too :) by the way, what's that front bar you got?? I liiike.

Thanks mate. Looks great. Although you do have lighter (stock) rims so the clear indicators are definately more suited. However with my dark rims I reckon smoked would look better. Now if only I can find them at a reasonable price somewhere hmm..

JJ is $300 for sides and front ... performance wise on ebay is a bit less but lots of negative comments and he hasn't answered my emails ina few days so bugger him. Nengun is out of question due to their reputation and slow delivery.

Anyone else who stocks these babies ? cheers guys

as i said, nengun has them, including postage im sure it would cost no more than $200 for the front and sides altogther

Did you actually read my post just above yours? I actually considered nengun until i read all the horror stories about their lousy service and ultra slow delivery, so they're out of the question.

I might be getting it from performance-wise after all ..just got a reply to my email and a helluva price.

i have clear on the front and sides of my black 34, im going for the smoked, personally i think it looks better.i'll post some pics when i get my car back and install them.

The clear fronts and sides look pretty bloody good in combination with the silver stock rims as seen above, imo ^^ But yeah ..I'm going smoked since my rims aren't silver.

ah sorry, missed that last bit : :)

^^ Looks nice Granthem. I never minded the orange indicators as Iam just use to seeing it and stuck with it but the clear indicators give a more stylish look.

gr34tt Thats a sweet Top Secret front bar, but I think you need the side skirts and a set of rear pods to top it off.

    • See my post here If you put the Haltech in, you won't have to worry about any of that. And, in case you're worrying about my lack of credentials in doing your exact swap, I put a Neo in an R32. There has never been a stock boost solenoid near my car and the Neo's ECU has never cared. Nor should it, because it is electronically impossible for it to care.
    • That's 100% wrong. Did you wire in the boost sensor? If you did not, then that is 101% your answer. Neo ECUs do suck a bit.
    • Hello, I'm trying to make this thread basically the thread with all the answers to common questions regarding specifically the RB20 DE NEO + T engine, that comes in the R34. Answers will and only should be provided by those who have done this conversion or actually have some relevant real life experience please. Please feel free to ask questions in the comments if you have any so other members can answer. I feel like this thread is really needed, especially with more Americans buying (unknowingly going to regret it too) rb20 neo r34s. My first question being - What do you guys use for tuning? I have purchased a haltech elite 2500 Plug and play kit for the rb25det NEO because the ecu plug is the same, but I am unsure if any of the pins would need to be repined to match. Second question that I see asked very often - After this conversion, did you install the boost solenoid/ actuator? I see many people doing a + T setup on their rb20 NEOs while running stock RB25DET NEO ECUs with no tune. I am wondering how they are going about doing that and consistently abusing the car because many of these people have had these untuned setups running for a very long time. That was my original plan, but my engine cuts out at 5 psi of boost using the stock ecu with no tune and no boost solenoid/actuator.
    • interesting. ive read and heard otherwise over the past year. ive been doing this +t conversion on a rb20 neo using all oem rb25det neo parts including the ECU, and im having engine cut out issues when I hit around 5 psi of boost. Everywhere/everyone ive asked has told me its because I never wired in a boost solenoid/actuator to the ecu, so the ecu isn't getting the right signal once it hits 5 psi of boost, causing the engine to get shut off.
