they're only marginally worth more than what you paid for them... $1225 profit off a license plate is a bit much to ask...

for the record I'd probably pay upto $375 for them (if i had a sh*t RB20 *looks at r32-gts* haha!) coz that's what they'd go for in polycarb :P

Its the same as anything in this world. If you have an item, that other people want, and they are willing to pay... why not....

Same way as if someone buys a car in japan, imports it, and sells it to make a profit.

It like any other business opportunity.

Maybe its different in perth, but in sydney personalised plates have a $360 per year fee to have, so selling it at a higher than cost price can make sense I suppose, to cover costs.....
