Resetting Powerfc?

I've got a second hand PowerFC and I'm putting it in over the weekend to make sure its working alright before I get a tune.

Im wondering if I will need to reset it back to its original settings first? as Im not sure as the its current setup and I dont really want any damage happening to my engine.

If I do, how is this done?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You need the hand controller to reset it..

There is an option called init data (or something similar).. I am sure all this info can be found in the Power FC FAQ written by Paulr33.

ETC, DATA INIT, YES, NEXT, turn car off

read the self learn idle procedure and pre-check BEFORE starting the car (its in the faq)
