What is the largest (hp wise) low mount turbo for a RB25DET?

with the right manifold and setup a gt30 should fit under there or a 35r

but the std heatshield wont fit, so if you leave it off, it will stick out like dogs balls

Laggy compared to what?...

Be sure to check the 25 page "RB25 Dyno" thread. Theres sure to be more then one person with dyno charts and mods, allowing you to check where 3071 users start making boost.

I've just put a GT35 on my standard manifold with a bit of modification (external W/G <-- see pic) and a 10mm spacer welded onto the T3 flange looks good not all that noticeable once pipes are in...

Well Im running a HKS GT2530 at the moment, response is great, however I am 80-100hp short of my 380-400rwhp goal. I want to maintain response, early spool and keep the turbo mounted low - dont want much!

Maybe a HKS 2835proS is the go?

hks gt3037 pros or gt2835 pro s for your hp goal (not biggest low mount)

hks 2835 pro s bolts onto stock manifold. need special dump pipe if you buy the kit it comes with it. kit comes with everything you need to bolt it on

Any minimum initercooler size required? I currently have a HKS front mount, unsure of size/model. It looks around medium in size.

Also, 2835 Pro S vs. GT-RS? Difference?

GT2835 Pros Rated at 420hp

mates putting a t04s on a low mount hks manifold

so far it fits on the motor now just have to see if it clears the strut tower
