hey guys, looking for a turbo upgrade.

looking for either a T3 from a VL turbo or an R33 RB25DET turbo. any similar sized turbos without massive lag (for RB20) also considered.

prefer melbourne as i would like to inspect it first.

cheers,

dave

i got a recoed t3 for sale in vic pm me

you have pm.

VLT T3 will sit at the wrong orientation due to the wastegate being mounted into the dump pipe.

can you explain your theory more deeply?

i was told that it should fit on sweet, and that all i needed was a VLT dump pipe because the exhaust flanges are slightly different.

Dave I have an R33 turbo here with 32 actuator. Housings rotated. Come check it out if you want. Don't want much for it. Has no shaft play.

can you please PM me what you're after for it. cheers!

The flanges are exactly the same, but the way it bolts up to the turbo means the dump pipe is angled towards the side of the car, basically it's f**ked and won't fit :ermm:

I had one a few years back, not amout of frigging will get it to fit, trust me

my mechanic said that my dump pipe will have to be slightly modified to fit. the water and oil lines will also fit with a little modification.

did you have one on your RB20? how did it go?
