Z32 Vs Standard Afm?

Hi all

I have a r32 gtr with a power fc and im thinking about putting on a set of z32's on it.Question is will i notice a big difference?

none, it will provide no power gain

z32's are only useful when you max the standard afm's

a quick search would have told you this

z32's are also larger so nothing mates up, they are 80mm vs the GTR stock ones of 65mm

the preferred upgrade path when you max the stockers is the nismo 65mm AFMs

they are z32s internals inside a GTR afm shell so everything mates up

sorry to hijack, but what sort of boost levels does the standard afm's max out at? i keep hearing different things about when they usually max out.

Maxed out at 18psi for me

i think the stockers max out around 300awkw

I completly agree that AFM's are just a supporting mod, and only allow you to MAKE more hp, but aren't the Z32's a bigger diameter? If he had the piping to match them, I'd think he could expect a gain. Different situation from most of the other "will a z32 give me more power on my GTSt" threads.
