Yeah i must say it seems the police are more lenient nowadays.

I live in the western suburbs (St.Albans) And i used to drive my R33 showcar around all the time with no hassles , and it was bright pink on 20's.

Aswell as my R32 GTR and only twice got pulled over in the city for license check and RBT. And thats doing over 500km's a week all over town for 2 years.

I guess if your not doing anything wrong, and treat the officer politley as i did, you should be fine.

hmm i been lucky, only been pulled over twice in a year (and drive daily)...

I've only been pulled over twice in five years or so, once for turning right at a No Right Turn and once for being a little too fast in an overtaking lane. I don't exactly drive inconspicuous cars either. If you have a good record and drive normally cops generally target cars which have or are more likely to commit an offense to pursue and won't harass you. Most people you hear complaining bring it on themselves.

its true that the police have been more lenient ( if that how u spell it =s ) around the area, not sure about other suburbs but i know springvale is much nicer.

but u still get those evil looks from those orange highway patrol cars which i know is scary if they notive you. cause u see them all the time handing out defects.

yes i have to agree they have become more leniant lately my area is full of comodores that love doing all they were built for (burnouts) 2 nights ago saw someone get pulled over going sideways in the wet and got let off not sure why but i have been hearing alot of stories about police being more understanding i thing this aproach is working rather than being complete ass's to thoes of us that actually respect the road rules and drive properly on our roads.
