Sure the mx5's have a "hairdresser" name to them....but these two do look pretty good, to me, if they were white, with black lip and wheels would look better!

just my thoughts though!

My friend who has a nice NA mx5 told me once he got harassed by 4 dudes in a skyline at the lights.

They were shouting obscenities to him calling him "a top bloke, gay" etc.

My friend thought it was ironic that they were calling him gay when they were all cramped inside the skyline.

...

But back on topic, I wouldnt mind a mx5 or a toyota spyder. Those lil things are fun & efficient!

lol

hate to admit it but I was a complete novice to cars before I stumbled across an r33 at a car yard, was on my way home coming from a mazda dealership when something sporty caught my eye. Turned out to be something called a skyline, drove it loved it and bought it the next week.

and it all snowballed from there.

If not for my chance encounter I probably would've had a lancer or corolla

    • Looking back, I’m pretty sure I over-torqued the magnetic drain plug because I was trying to fully crush the copper washer. In hindsight, I definitely should’ve used a torque wrench. Either way, I ended up switching to a regular drain plug so I don’t have to deal with this kind of issue again. Big thanks to everyone on the forum for your support—I actually talk about you guys to my friends and coworkers
    • Curious to why you're not getting Jesse to do the exhaust, seeing that he has just done 2 GTRs with Aes valves.
    • What extra parts are you thinking you'll need to run e85 compared to e30?
    • I'm not aware of e30 in Australia, but I'm pretty sure e85 is still around. You really want a setup with an ethanol sensor so you can run any mix of ethanol depending on what you can access. Fuel Check NSW app shows 14 site in sydney metro with e85. What are you adding, will you put in bigger turbs too? Apparently the wastegates are pretty small and can't bypass enough as you run more boost.  I'm sticking to 1.3 bar with 98 on the standard turbos with my tune on advice from the tuner, and boost drops significantly in the top end; apparently larger turbos with larger wastegates are needed to get anywhere meaningful from there.
    • Amazing work Duncan! It is never easy to pick up someone elses project and work all the parts out that are missing
