Hpi Stainless Exhaust Manifold Vs 6boost

looking at a new manifold for the old rb20 tossing up on a HPI or a 6boost any1 have any pro's cons on either of these? or which is 1 is the better 1 cheers

haven't herd much about the HPI mani's but everybody that has had a 6boost mani loves it... i know what my choice would be...

both are good both are totally differrent. the HPI one is stock position the 6boost is not.

I bought a 6boost manifold after weighing up the following:

Stainless steel, (note: this is not directed at the HPI product but at stainless steel in general)

+light weight,

+shiny, (if you like shiny things)

-likely to crack,

-short life span,

-replacement costs, labour, new manifold/fixing cracks ect.

-what warranty?

6boost,

+steam pipe,

++unlimited km warranty against cracking!

+ less likely to crack (2 on 700)

+design of the merger

+Made in Australia

-heavy,

Hi guys,

Here is a picture of the HPI manifold for those who are interested or have not yet seen one first hand.

We have seen several low mount manifold variations for RB20/RB25 over the years and this is the best example we have come across, and is made in Japan.

Since starting to stock these, we have sold half a dozen or so and had nothing but excellent reports from customers who are running them.
