Smallest Turbo Around To Suit A Small Engine?

Ok, before i start, i know what u are prob all thinking, what the hell do you want a small turbo for? the answer is a good friend of mine loves engines and will stick an engine in just about anything and make it go, his latest thing is to put small 50cc Honda engine onto his expensive mountain bike and zip around. He wants to keep the engine small for obvious reasons, but wants to add a turbo, he says he can fabricate just about anything given half the chance, but needs some advice on the turbo. As i realise its not everyones cup of tea, but if you have some knowledge feel free to enlighten me, cheers Damo

There were a few models of turbo bikes from the factory, so a turbo from one of these would probably be suitable but finding one may be another story.

Something to think about is oiling? How are you going to lube it? External pump or just jam pack the oil feed/return with a high temp grease?

Suss out youtube, there has been manya turbo charged mower posted on there.

Probably a IHI RHB32 off of a CB60 Charade... They are tiny!

Should be able to pick one up for ~$50 too.

but they are 660cc 3 cylinder motors.

I don't think you are going to find a turbo small enough for a 50cc motor to spin up.

think its off a cuppucino.... so small.... tiny exhaust housing which you can spool up just blowing through it!! lol Would still be too big though!!

Try looking at some r/c motors, there are a few turbo ones, but it wont be cheap.
