I don't think Jag will be engineless. Cosworth will have to supply to both. Arrows may lose out though.

If only the current Ford family were more into motorsports like in the 60/70's when they came up with the GT40 just to beat Ferrari in Le Mans.

Cosworth ALREADY supplies both Jaguar and Arrows with their engines. So they could easily supply someone else as well. It wouldn't mean that someone would miss out.

It would mean closer racing in the middle/rear of the field though. I don't understand why Jordan would want to swap to a Cosworth engine though - seems to me the Honda engine is getting pretty good. Better than the Cosworth anyway. And also I heard that Ford is thinking about pulling out of F1 altogether. Can't remember where I head this though...

At the moment Arrows are having financial woes so it looks doubtful for next year. Also Cosworth having to supply engines to 3 teams sounds like a lot to handle. It's not just a matter of throwing the motor their way.

It's not a matter of wanting to swap Honda motors for Cosworth motors, but it's cause Honda want to concentrate on one team. Currently of the two teams, BAR is the more winning team so that's the way Honda want to go.

Just reading the interview with the F1 managers and looks like I was right about Cosworth. They knew that Arrows was in financial troubles and forward a proposal to Jordan for next year. But I was wrong about Honda not wanting Eddie Jordan's team as it's Eddie's decision to go with which engine manufacture for next year.
