R33 Front Bar

Hey guys

In the next week im installing a FMIC on my S1.5 skyline and wanted to cut the middle out of the front bar has anyone out there done this before and if so how did you go about it, i was thinking a bit of a DIY job would be fine althou im not too sure how it will turn out can someone please post some pics if they have done this

hey man. i found using a grinder with an old grinding disc works great. heres what i did with my 32.

I have a s2 front bar, I used a angle grinder to cut out the center bar peices - was like a hot knife through butter!

As soon as i cut them out, the whole thing warped like it had lost the peices that keep it rigid. Once i stuck it on the car it was fine though...

I was thinking of using a Jigsaw to cut around the middle. Not really too sure how it will turn out thats all. I will post pics when completed *fingers crossed* that it doesnt look to Bodged

an angle grinder with a thin stainless steel cutting blade will give a neater finish than a jigsaw

if you have to use a jigsaw get a fine tooth blade for it
