Key Wont Turn

I have a 93 non turbo r33 and the key refuses to turn at all when i put it in:| anyone know why

Have you tried moving the steering wheel? Give the wheel a little turn while you're trying to turn the key.

Its been an hour since i left it, and i tried just then an it worked, know why it would do that.... its quite strange

Sh*t yeh it was locked, what do you do if it is? its my 1st car so i dont know these things

lol its a preventative measure once the key is removed if the wheel is moved slightly it locks.... so when you put the key back in just shake the wheel a little and it will unlock with the key in ignition
