Big Heavy Metal Gig Tomorrow/saturday Night

It's late notice, but for those interested in music of the cookie monster persuasion A whole bucketload of bands are playing at the Basement in Belconnen. It's very cheap (like $35) if you go both nights. Doors at 8pm on Friday, and 12ish midday on the Saturday.

Chaos at the Basement

The bands (well the ones I know anyway) range in sound from the 'widdly widdly' *air guitaring* to Nu-metal sounding (think Korn/similar) to plain good old death metal. Infinitum and Separatist both sound like a lot of fun from the clips on Myspace.

It's a small venue in the grand scheme of things and parking is good, so you can easily walk up a set of steps and see the car park within 20 seconds
