Anyone here had any experience with the Blitz throttle controller on their V series skylines (particular 350GT-8/ PV35 model)?

http://www.blitz.co.jp/products/electonic/..._controller.htm

The claim is that you can select 4 different throttle curves:

Economy Mode

Designed to provide smooth throttle response for street driving providing greater fuel efficiency

Sport 1

Throttle is opened greater at lower revs compared to standard, providing faster low down acceleration but with no modification once the revs increase.

Sport 2

The throttle is opened at twice the rate of standard acceleration, designed for sport driving and circuit use.

Sport 3

Extreme sport and circuit use, the throttle is opened at four times the standard accelerator action.

There are positive results on the web for other fly by wire throttle cars (Colt turbo, Yaris) but no skyline.... yet

I've got one on the way and wanna check if anyone's tried it (or if I'm really gonna be the test mule). I'm not sure what to expect, but have often thought the GT-8 could be quite more interesting with a slightly sharper throttle response.

Cheers,

Haven't seen any reviews but very interested.

There are a few ecu flash tunes for G35's in the US, and on almost all them one of the things the do is adjust the throttle info.

The V35 throttle is controlled to begin closing once in the higher rpm range, from memory, and re-flashes hold it open longer. Hopefully this does a similar thing.

Scathing has had it done on his 350Z so maybe could shed some light.

My ECU re-flash doesn't touch the throttle maps, that I'm aware of (Pro Concept did it). All mine does is bump the redline from 6600RPM to 7200RPM.

There was a mob in Melbourne looking at doing a reflash that offered WOT all the way to the cutout (apparently, as you say, it starts closing the throttle up top) that posted on 350Z Tech a while back, but I haven't heard from them in years.
