Genuine R33 Front Bar

do genuine r33 front bars bolt up to the existing mounts of a r33 gtst or is there an amount of work to get it to fit?? i know that i would need to purchase gtr indicators and wire them up if i was to find one. But is there any modification required to fit the actual bar?

only reason i ask is that im looking for r33 bodyparts to fit my gtst, and since im not in a huge rush, im just looking about for genuine parts in the factory deep marine blue, so it matches up to my paint instead of paying the extra for spraying and fitting.

on that note, would anyone know of a place or person/s that would have gtr parts, or just r33 bodyparts in the factory deep marine blue (BN6 is the paint code) that i could source?

You can't use GTR front bars on a GTS-t's as the GTR is wider as far as im aware. Anyone who has a GTR style front on there GTS-t is a copy.

I have a east bear gtr n1 bar,fits really well but is $$$$$ but is plastic

Note:Gtr bars sit real low esp.the real ones and the eastbear.

I just got one of ebay only cost $230 its just a gtr bar with n1 slots still waiting on gtr indicators should look a bit better!

if u end up getting one your goin 2 have to modify you reobar! I wouldn't risk not using one for insurance and damage issues! have u tryed getting a quote fron nissan on one becoz u can modify them to fit!

fair enoughski, might have to just look around for copy bars, that doesnt worry me at all, im just trying to save a bit of money and find some parts that match the colour of my car. im not really too interested in playing around with the reo or spending a lot of time mucking about getting one to fit, it all just gets a bit too costly for my peasant wages haha

on another note, does anyone know what kind of front bar is this?? i really want one

u cant just bolt up gtr front gaurds to your car, u would also need to buy new head lights and a gtr bonnet and also modify the bonnet latch.

and from what u said above about the factory paint, if you buy it new from nissan or who ever its not going to come in a factory colour, your still goin to have to get it sprayed

seems like a whole lot of messing around really. is it the same kind of story for genuine sideskirts/wing to fit to a gtst? i always thought they are a straight fit......

side skirts wont fit unless u modify them because of the wider gaurds on the gtr

um the wing will fit straight on tho

mate if you want the gtr look just go down the copy path and be done. If you buy a genuine GTR front... your going to have to mod it to fit... if you buy a copy... your going to have to mod it to fit, BUT its hella cheaper and with it no doubt being made of fiberglass it will be easy/cheap to repair if you make a mistake during the modification stage. (rather than finding someone who is willing to plastic weld that type of plastic)

In both cases they will no doubt need to be painted to match your car so no savings there.
