R32 Rb25 Head On 25/30

I've got an r32 rb25 head and was wondering if anyone who has used one of these heads can help me out with where to get an inlet manifold gasket to suit. i posted this before and was told to go to nissan directly, i gave them a call and was told it would be 4 to 6 weeks and 80 bucks. someone also mentioned gizzmo but they didn't mention that head on their website. Should i just order one from nissan?

is the rb25de head a straight bolt on to the rb30 bottomend. like do you have to do the weld thehole thing or whatever. is it just same as if you were putting a rb30 head on the rb30 block.

head bolts on straight up and the only way is to get an inlet manifold from japan for about 80 bucks. the rb20 ones are smaller

RB20det inlet gasket will fit 25de head and vice versa. And yes, R32 RB5de head will bolt straight down onto the 30 block.

RB20DET ports are slightly smaller than RB25DE.

The R32 RB25DE VRS kit is worth around $280 from Nissan.

Comes with all gaskets.

Or reuse the old with a spray of Hylomar if need be.

The plenum to inlet manifold gaskets are around $11; exhaust manifold gaskets are $90 odd but there are some floating around aftermarket that appear 'ok' for cheap.

The R32 Rb25de inlet ports from memory are 5mm larger each side (10mm in total) compared to the rb20det inlet ports. From memory that is its been a while.

I don't think the size difference was quite that excessive but it was definately noticable.. maybe 2.5mm either side..

Just checked.. r32 rb25 vs rb20 its ~5mm either side. and approx 2.5mm top and bottom.

My exhaust mani gasket for an R32 RB25DE was $60 from nissan.

The GIZZMO one AFAIK are the Phenolic (Sp?) type that greatly reduce heat transfer to the intake manifold, and i would expect them to be expensive if this is the case.
