just installed my electric boost gauge today and all went well except i didn't know where to put the boost sensor or whatever its called. so i stashed it under the dash behind the ash tray. now i know electronic boost gauges can be very inaccurate but my one lags whenever i tested it out today. whenever i boost it takes about a second for the gauge to recognise it.

its probably caused by the length of the vacuum tube since the sensor has about a meter or less of vacuum tubing to the T bracket?

how much tubing in cm's can there be from boost sensor to the T bracket for it to work as accurately as possible?

I did this as well though i mounted the boost sender in the engine bay and ran electrical wire through the firewall to boost gauge.

it seems fine and is quite responsive...

What gauge are you using?
