I'm having a prick of a time undoing the 4 bolts holding the prop shaft onto the output of the gearbox, and ideas? they are the 17mm bolts, already tried air gun while Sloane was pushing the other way on the nut with a spanner...

driving me mad!!!!

air gun as in rattle gun ?

if so get a better one on there- or the old school pole on a ratchet trick.

unless they are rusted together it shouldne be that difficult -

i thought all skylines ran a spindle on the front section so im confused at what bolts your talking about.

Rust penetrator every night for a week then use ring spanners.

EDIT: Yah, the front yoke fits to the g.box with spines (well a BNR33 does)

Try undoing the allen key bolts at the diff end, and sliding the front out.

yeah i google rb20det gearbox's and they are yoke style slide ins
