Hello everybody!

Unfortunately I don't own one of your macho cars/engines but I do respect them.

What I do own is two R33 clusters. One of them is coming from an automatic with the connectors and a piece of the harness on.

I would like to use them on a 4-cylinder SR16VE.N1 engine. Is it true I need some kind of device to manipulate the rpm signal?

I had no luck in finding any dash wiring diagrams besides some regarding the R34 MFD.

I suppose the only difference between a manual and automatic cluster are the extra wires for the gears indicators.

Is that oil pressure dial accurate? I've heard that the stock oil sender often fails. Could I bought a sender and use it or could I use and aftermarket sender? Could a sender be used in parallel to drive two gauges?

Thank you in advance.

sorry to pop your little balloon there buddy but i hope you had the foresight to get all the sensors aswell? if not those are pretty much paperwieghts as none of them will be acurate as the sr16ve sr20de rb sensors all give out differing readings.

the nizmo cluster you'd be better off selling to whom it would be useful, i.e. a r33 owner.

Don't worry I make balloons everyday so they don't pop out that easily...

Europe drivers besides Northern countries and UK are not used to drive right hand vehicles. They also face silly law restrictions for importing and registration. So whenever we see one these beauties over here everybody takes a camera in hand and starts chasing it... :(

RB engine conversions have just started to become popular. S13 CA18 guys used to upgrade to SR20DET.

So that cluster belongs to me... I could turn it around be hand and imagine I drive that high...

On which sensors are you referring to?

Speed meter sleeve is incompatible with SR transmissions.

Cluster water temp sensor 25080-89907 is the same.

Oil pressure sender 25070-30P01 can be also found on S15/Z32

All the others are simple switches.

Purpleline has provided me an awsome cluster wiring diagram in case anybody else needs it.

I'm kindly dissapointed cause cluster needs modification to fit my vehicle but besides that stock ecu does not drive the tachs at all. Just a small wag on startup.

This device might help people doing similar conversions.
