What is it, exactly, that you need to rethread?

How it is done (and wether or not you can do it yourself) kinda depends on what it is.

its the spark plug hole i danno if its cross threaded or just carbon build up i can still put it in normally but just sits up like 2-3mm's higher

Go to your mechanic mate. We send it out to Malaga Engineering to get this stuff done. Rarely, but easy

You CAN helicoil sparkplugs yourself, but without specialist gear you can't do it with the head on the engine, because all the swarf and crap from drilling the old thread out will drop into the top of your engine.

Are you 100% sure it isn't just the crush washer fouling?
