Well what a great night!

It was fantastic to see so many new members out and about, with a great turn out with over 25 cars! Congrats to everyone for behaving through the evening. Big thanks to Wayne for organising the cruise and doing the front man thing. There were a few of us (7 cars at my count) who went the wrong way as the car infront couldn't decide which way to go from the round about/didn't listen to Waynes directions......Maybe next time we have some cruise notes??? But nevermind, our way was a heap more fun!

I saw a few cameras out, so who's got pics they want to share??

Hey it happens

Big thanks to Mav for letting me ride shotgun. Awesome cruise, wish my car was there . Congrates to everyone on a great turn out, considering all the variables that worked against this event (date change, shite weather, massive accident on the Monash, etc) the turn out was great.

Big thanks to Wayne for plotting the cruise and organising it all!

See you all next time

great night guys. bit slippery but its good to see that everyone took it easy wen it was neeeded. the tree on the rd scared the crap outta me. and the 2 cars that were leading most the way was great goin through uop mt dandy got to open her up a lil hehehehe ne way see ya guys around cheers and thanks for a great night wayne

Was an excellent cruise. Thanks to everyone who attended and behaved (everyone from what I saw ). They were some great roads with some nice turns, albeit a bit damp here and there, but great to see everyone was smart enough to contain themselves.

I'm a bit surprised I managed to run up the front with such shitty, small tires, but actually pretty pleased with the way the car handled considering :P

A well organized and fun cruise, thanks Wayne :(

i might be totally off track here but did this cruise have a silver s15 with clear lights, two type x 180's and a black r32 with stockies (a quick look on the imports)? if so i was the guy in the silver two tone s13 with white rims, had no idea there was a meet. also saw u guys cruising near brandon park shoppin center l8r in the night.

    • Throwing my spoon to the soup here a bit.  When I installed a 044 back in 2012, along with the direct power mod, the car became very difficult to start. To a point I burned one starter motor as I was late for work and tried to get the thing going. With some tuning and careful use of gas pedal when cranking it became bearable. Trying to make this short as possible, but the 044 died after 2-3 years, after which I went with an AEM 320lph pump, which also died after about 4 years to my dismay. After that I went with a Nismo pump, and while trying diagnose an emissions problem, I noticed for the first time that my fuel pressure was 5bar/72psi on idle, and that removing the vacuum line did nothing. After monitoring the situation, and removing the direct power feed and going back to FPCM in attempts to remedy it, I noticed there was fuel in the pressure regulator vac line. Kept the FPCM, installed AEM external regu and the car became sooo much better in every way, including starting. And I had driven it like it was for 11 years.. Anyway, I agree these are likely two different problems, and the FP problem you just haven't noticed before. I do not know much about haltecs, but what first came to mind was the CAS, which probably is not there any more. So how is the wiring from haltec to gauge cluster? How is the battery voltage and alternator?
    • Your car was auto before? You have different diff ratio (auto vs manual i think? or n/a and turbo?)
    • +1 for getting a screen off alibaba, CarPlay/Android Auto is vastly better than whatever navigation cars had 10 years ago. I got an Android screen for my 2015 BMW, huge difference. Fully compatible with factory stuff including iDrive controls.
