Hey...I am not alone!!!!!!!!!

Mine broke once, was welded up by the place I bought my car from, lasted 3 days and spapped again. I then paid about $150 to get it done "properly".

That lasted for about 14 months and then spanned again...shiiiiit!

So I was tossing up to get a new pedal box installed from a front cut @ $275 fitted or fix the original one.

I got advice from the mob who put my intercooler in a couple of weeks ago and the young guy had a look and said he could fix it and brace it so it would NEVER happen again.

Since then it has been better than ever. It may have had something to do with the brutal treatment I have given the 3 clutches I have been throught in the last 18 months.

hmmm clutch drama's. I am experienceing them at the moment. Just had the car for not even a week and the clutch is slipping already. Its got a os gieken heavy duty clutch in it and the fella was like yeah so u wont have to replace it blah blah but what i dont know is how long its been in there. So yeah coming down the on ramp onto the highway this morning in 4th and the revs pick up and go down n up...shyte i think so into fifth and same deal except worse. Know of any clutch combos which will be decent?

$500 button clutch from Just Jap. That will do the trick! My last Exceedy Organic Button Clutch lasted about 8 months due to drifting and cost me $2,000 fitted, so I got ripped off basically.

Then I bought the button clutch from Just Jap and another flywheel and changed it with some mates from Cyber Group and it only cost me $880 + Booze for the weekend, pretty cheap really!

PM if you want some more details...

    • Hey, like MBS206 mentioned; I dropped off my short block and rotating assembly Monday. With a quick verification, he believes he can clear it up with just a hone and new rings but he will confirm once the rotating assembly is out. If I were you, I would either go stroker or just replace the block if it does need to be bored over to next size. Block is cheaper then forged pistons.
    • live in the UK, and London has introduced a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) that requires individuals to pay £13 if their car doesn’t meet the required emissions standards.   The standard specifies that NOx emissions must be less than 0.08 g/km (i.e., the vehicle must meet Euro 4 standards or better, which generally results in NOx levels of around 0.08 grams per kilometer).   I reached out to Nissan UK, and they advised me to contact Nissan Japan directly. Does anyone have contact details for Nissan Japan or any certifications of conformity that show the emission details or NOx levels for the RB25DET engine?   Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
    • these guys recommended to me and supplied custom 4 inch mufflers, couldn't be happier. They will spec a muffler to your preferred level of sound and know RB's well.  https://spmufflers.com.au/
    • Yeah this used to happen to me every year and a quick call would at least raise the agreed value back up / reduce the premium, but usually both.    That said for the first time on the renewal this year our agreed values went up or stayed the same over the fleet and the premium came down so that was a nice surprise.
    • I don't even go that hard core. I just say "how do you expect me to stay, when you increase my premium, and reduce the value of the car?"   Then play a game of shut the f**k up. Most of the time it's a computer that did the adjustment, and the people will happily change it around for you.
