R32 Problem

Hey guys,

been having this problem ever since car got inported from japan! car is completely stock apart from HKS air filter. Ive replaced AFM, ECU, plugs have been done dyno showed no problems. fuel filter replaced, cleane AAC valve, throttle position sensor and crank angle sensor have been adjusted, replacing coolant temp sensor next week to hopefully fix hard start problem but the main problems is that the car can run fine for a while then the idle will fluctuate under the 'normal idling level'. when arrivign to a stop and put the clutch in neutral and the car will idle real low and then back to normal ...this happends all the time and i think its not normal to drop that much...90% of the time it stalls. Also while driving at a constant speed whether the engine is cold or warm the car hesitates badly just like if the if the car wasnt even running almost like no fuel is going through but all that has been checked???

Im lost for ideas...any help????

did you replace the AFM from a car that was working fine?

the guy at the dyno shop supplied me with the afm! im hoping a new coolant temp sensor will fix it

so it was new or known to be working

sounds like a vaccum leak to me...

old car old rubber hoses......

just a suggestion, go crazy with some new silicon hoses!!!

i replaced the coolant temp sensor and the problem hasnt occured since, idlign is fine fuel economy is normal......car felt like it had more power too. im jsut hioping that it will start without throttle when its cold....f**king coolant temp sensor...causes sooo amy problems.

ok soo cold start is still a problem and the car hesitated and stalled twice,,,arrgghhh . any chance that the ecu is still adjusting the new coolant temp sensor???

leak between inlet and intercooler, check all pipes and hoses. Check to see if BOV is not stuck open or leaking to atmosphere, or even if its a stock or after market one that came with the car

ok soo ecu should have adjusted by now.

has anyone hear about re-earthing the fuel pump??

Mine does it every now and then. It's only when I come to a sudden stop. I know exactly when it's going to do it as well.

Sound like you have the same issue as me and I'm pretty sure mine has to be a vacuum issue...

after market BOV can cause stalling.

stock BOV, checke all hoes and no sign of leaks, im thining its the fuel pump relay
