Hey All,

I had a little mishap in my car on the weekend and as a result i have a big dent in my intercooler from a tow bar. I've been looking at a few and just wanted any opinions or recommendations on what will be ideal to get. Do any of the aftermarket coolers offer any significant gains over the standard GTR core? My car is currently standard but in future will be probably running some N1's and supporting mods. I basically want something that's going to be a direct replacement and bolt straight on with minimal fuss. I came across the Blitz LM but the kit only comes with a core. Is this because it uses all the factory piping?

Btw i have a budget of around 1k

Thanks for any input.

Yep most GTR coolers are suitable for the re-use of the stock piping. You wont get any noticeable power gains but with a larger core you'll be able to hammer it without worrying about your intake temps. So with this in mind, if you dont plan on doing any track work, a stocker will suffice.
