Theres a few in Campbellfield and Thomastown

there's plenty around.

for spares though, I'd recomend NOT buying from anywhere in the northern suburbs (unless I've missed any good ones). They always seem to want too much for the most basic parts.

I have a gun metal grey 32GTR, But i dont drive it much because iam still on my P plates with only one point. so it sux big time.

Hey i too am in the northern suburbs, and im just wondering about these 'performance' workshops.. what are they like with just basic servicing/tuning? I too am still on my Ps and a full-time student so im not looking for a workshop to build me a monster, just wanting a few tuning issues sorted out. Would these places (Bresciani, Race Pace etc..) even bother with someone like me? Or only the guys with big bucks looking to run quick times..

Any advice on where to go for minor issues like these?

Thanks

Ric

Mines black, has SAU stickers on the qtr windows. There a silver 33gtr round the corner from me and a white one as well I see getting around a bit. My daily is a yellow 88 astra, so if you see one of them hooning around it'll probably be me :woot:

They wouldnt care money is money at the end of the day.

i'm in Resa and I take mine down to racepace. find it to be more than worth the trip

I guess it come's down to budget, Racepace is number one but for a tune it might cost more then other work shops. But if you do have the cash i say go racepace.

well I recommend Centreline for suspension stuff, they also do welding and a bunch of other stuff..

workshops - there's JPC in thomastown for tuning or general repairs, Promaz in Epping seem alright, and one of the Bresciani boys just opened his own shop with a dyno.. but I forget where it is (epping somewhere) or the name of it.. but it was something lame.. lol :)

Don't know if I recommend any of those tho as I have limited experience with them so I'm undecided.

If you want a tune it's well worth going to Racepace.

I had a bad experience with Protek, but each to their own.
