Factory Boost Gauge

Hi all ,

Does any body know where and how the factory boost gauge on a R32 gtr gets it signal from?

mine doesnt work and i would like to check the input from motor

Any help would be great!!!

The sensor is near the brake booster, check the line from the rear of the plenum to it to make sure its not broken . They cook after a few years and break.

Is that what the oval three pin plug that seats between the booster and the strut tower is for ? Mine has nothing there , I can see a vac line that goes to the bottom- back of the plenum that now goes to my boost controller , maybe the last owner removed the sensor?

thats the one. the line they sent to the boost controller is meant to run to the factory map sensor with that 3 pin plug. more common to put in a t piece in the vacuum line and keep the factory sender.

you should be able to pick up one on here very cheap if its mising. normally bolted to the firewall between brake booster and vacuum cannister
