Hey all,

Have been noticing an increasing number of skylines in the car park at my gym and am just curious if these are sau members.

None have had sau stickers but i thought i might ask anyway... cause im bored!!!

dont go to that gym, but say hi to my mate sarah working at reception for me! hahah

Went there for a while, but @ 80bucks a month I would expect them to have weight belts and chalk!! Now I go to PCYC in St Kilda $25 per year membership and $2 each visit. Has everything I need.

I agree thats it's friggin expensive for bad service. But with my line of work being so random on times and locations its quite advantages to be able to use any of their gyms.

Buy your own stuff. I got all mine off ebay;

Power rack with high/low cable attachments.

Incline/decline adjustable bench.

7ft standard bar.

Standard EZ bar.

2x standard screw lock dumbells.

And about... 120kg worth of rubber coated weights.

Cost me less than a grand including delivery. Home gyms are excellent IF you can motivate yourself. Its very easy to to procrastinate, or quit the session early.

Yeah I would love to buy my own stuff but the two problems are that I have no room for it, and decent gear is hell expensive. Not having a go at your stuff, but after training with proper weight equiptment (bars with knurling that rips your hands apart before slipping, bumper plates that can be dropped from overhead, kettle bells, etc) there is no way I could afford to set my home up with the gear I really like and need.

Im @ FF on Chapel... and compared to the other places around the facilities are double the quality etc

So im happy paying what i pay considering the other crap places around (and there are heaps)

Ash if you're at FF on chapel you are tranging a 5 min drive away from PCYC on Inkerman St, St Kilda near Cnr of Chapel. When you get a chance check it out and start saving yourself some serious cash. The only think FF has that PCYC does not is pristine white surfaces and a "welcome pack" when you sign up :thumbsup:
