Reformated Comp

Hey guys,

yesterday i reformatted my gf's cuzs computer & as it is a 4ishyr old comp they could not find the motherboard driver disk. As LAN is listed as ? I had to go home & download various drivers from the motherboard site but they don't work for sum reason

My question is, would flashing the BIOS to latest one available fix the problem? Maybe the drivers arent made for the old BIOS? Thanks in advanced, btw motherbaord is MS-6368 v2.1 (MSI).

2. No flashing the bios wont help you need to make sure the drivers you downloaded were actually for that hardware

as im not on a desktop i cant research what you have against what you downloaded

So there is no other way around it bsides finding the original cd? Ive tried the various MSI sites, ozzy, taiwanese etc made sure ive selected the correct model & drivers but there no good!

Take the easy way out ... buy your GF another PC!

actually open up the case and check the motherboard number and revision, then make sure you get the correct driver versions. I have never had a board I couldn't get working before. Make sure you get the correct os drivers.
