Year and Month of manufacture on 15 year cars.

the facts as I can see it is caveat emptor (let the buyer beware)

most of the people who ahve bought these cars have only done so on the advice of so called brokers. the rules had to change because of the amount of stuff that was being spammed out to every one with these low balling prices I cant wait till some of the people actually get some of the cars here and have to get them on the road especially in victoria Where i am.

I'm just upset I cant bring a laurel in for a while :D but I will get one. my hope is that the rules dont change and only allow stock cars not the modded ones.

cheers

Me be happy - my GTR that I imported 1 year ago from Japan is still worth what it cost me.

Now the zaust, PFC, boost kit, brake pads, repairs for a spin off at Collie, suspension.................., that's a different matter!

Finding the VIN numbers will be the key to 15 year imports a friend who is a buyier in Japan for some of the big players has nearly finished his collection of VIN numbers on all cars upto 20 years old that come into this country.

I have been sent a link to a car in free storage over in Japan and the only thing in short supply is bricks.

I would ask for info on my car if I had one sitting in Japan.

That looks like a Celsior, not much of a "Prestige" car now is it, I wonder whom is going to pay for the missing rims, smashed side skirts and window and god knows whats been ripped of from inside? the owner has still got to wait 8-12 months to import it. I would not be happy to leave it with no window for that long, it snows in Japan !!!!

That,s scarry stuff,

Rumor has it that there are 6x GTR32,s in much worse shape!!!!! if I had one over there I would be DEMANDING a up-to date photo and condition report ASAP... I dont know what supplier has these vehicles in Japan but I would not like to be one of his clients when there vehicles arrive.... might get messy!!!!
