Milage: 125070 - not accurate, speedo hasnt worked since I owned it!!!

Transmission: manual - 5 spd

Colour: black

Comments / Modifications: ok guys, some of you know that my 33's heart gave out and I bought this to run around in at the time. It is now time to sell as the cars are mounting up in the driveway and I just don't drive it anymore since the 33 was given its transplant.

Zeddles (nickname) used to run a HKS 2540, but it packed it in. It now currently has a R33 turbo running... For those of you that are unaware, these run a red top RB20 setup as standard.... was running 200rwkw @14psi with the HKS turbo... no idea with the rb25 turbo... seems just as quick, just no kick in the ass as it comes on boost!

mods are: HKS twin plate, HKS FMIC, HKS oil cooler and relocator, HKS turbo timer, watanabe rims 17 x 8.5" wrapped in federal 595ss, boost guage (whoa), lowered springs, veilside steering wheel, remapped ecu, insurance approved alarm and immobiliser, tinted windows, kakimoto turbo back exhaust, strut brace, turbosmart bleed valve, cd player and speakers...... sure ive missed some

Known issues: Speedo cable needs to be replaced, paint and body is a lil rough, rear main leaks and always has done judging by the glue the previous owner tried to use to seal it up !

Spare RB20 Silvertop long motor comes with this car, purchased off CEF11E (solves rear main leak issue!) I was going to replace it ages ago.... although the redtop never died so it hasn't happened yet!

All in all its a fun cheap car.... used it as my daily, beats an excel or something of that nature :P

Or turn it into a track bish and throw a RB26 in there ;) (which is what will happen if I keep it!)

I believe there was a few 200zr slicktops, but the ones with T-tops are the most common ones.

Awesome car at an awesome price, if I had the money I'd be looking at plane tickets already lol. Advertise it on www.auz31club.com forums if you like.

Ah thanks! Yeah I'd love to keep it but I have one money pit already... and I physically can't drive two cars at once and the zed will lose to the line everytime :banana:

Had some interest interstate (NT) but logistically proving a nightmare to that state!!

Thanks Marsss..... If I kept it .... I reckon the engine bay would end up looking likes daves before long.. the 33 is more than capable of emptying my bank balance..... !!

Oh yeah new 240l/ph Pierburg fuel pump popped in over the weekend..... old one gave up the will to live :)

Haven't really been bumping it though, nor advertised it elsewhere...lol

Secretly I think my subconsious wants to keep it.... :(

Two people coming on the weekend though...so fingers crossed I get some garage space back.... just mid process of removing all the build up of webs and stuff.... half polished.... half to go.... doh!

Well another bit to add to the list - HKS fuel defender thingy was found in the kick panel next to the ecu.... Think il dig around for more hidden HKS stuff!

      Hi all. So I have my GTR on the lift and have been working on it a few days and today I unpacked the frontpipe that was wrapped with heat wrap stuff, because part of it was breaking down and soaked in oil. Noticed that the pipe itself does not actually look like a Mines, despite it supposedly being a Mines. But I could not find any fronpipe online that looks exacly like his, and I don't think it is a custom one. My amateur measurement also showed the two pipes are about equal length, so maybe this is just an old version of the Mines pipe? Would appreciate insight on this by the enlightened folks. greetings from Germany

      Yeah. If I plug the connector in and connect the vacuum lines, I assume worse case scenario is that it simply doesn't work? Yep PFC.

      I would think that rather than attempting to perform an engine swap, with all the difficulties associated with doing so in a country where the raw materials required are harder to get hold of, I would just build the CA20 for boost, find an EFI manifold for it and either add a turbo or a supercharger. Or both. You replace one set of difficulties with a different set, but I know which would be more fun.

      Well, a proper aftermarket ECU** SHOULD be set up to run the purge solenoid, same as the factory ECU would, so that the tank breather system continues to operate the way it is supposed to. I have no knowledge of whether the PFC (which is what I assume you mean when you say Apexi) has an output (and internal logic) to run the purge solenoid. If it does not, then given the product design intent for the PFC, which is to be a plug in replacement for the stock ECU, I would consider that a massive failing on Apexi's behalf and would be another reason to think that they were a half-arsed solution to the problem if programmable management on RBs. I would suggest that since Nistune came to market (which is a LOOOOONG time ago now) there has been no valid argument for choosing a PFC, especially if the PFC can't do things like this.   **ie, Haltach, Link, Motec, etc
