Just bought an M35 stagea and upon trolling through the japanese menus on the screen - I found the compass screen. Trouble is that the direction of the compass is incorrect by 60 degrees or so. Is there some way to calibrate it to be correct?

Cheers,

Andrew

mmmmm.... interesting. Some how I manged to make mine wrong by 180 degrees by pressing some buttons. Showed where I was coming from. I kept changing settings in the jap menu's and eventually managed to fix it or it fixed it's self. not really sure what happened.

I would just see if it corrects it self.

When we manage to get the menu's converted to english we may find the solution.

Sorry I can not be more help.

Cheers

Andy

If anyone sends me the occasional M35 screen shot, my Japanese wife has offered to translate them. If you need all the screens translated she could do for a negotiated nominal fee, depending on how many there are.

Hi there, hopefully your compass display is satnav/gps related...........translator/finger-pokn best bet. Else a compass swing is in order. Still need translator but by the sounds of things.

Roadmaps are good & Tomtom rocks.

Hope you work it through without too much hassle.

Cheers GW

Thanks for your replies guys - I'll just keep on a button pressing until I find something that looks like a calibration mode or something funky happens and I get the Japanese warning up on the screen :-) I'm sure it says something about being too Aussie to operate this screen.........
