Hey all,

Looking at getting some lowering springs as I already have adjustable shocks and don't want to sink too much money into the car yet.

Was wondering what springs people have used and what their thoughts are?

I'm looking to drop the car about 35mm in preparation for track. (R32 GTR)

The only 2 springs I have in mind are WhiteLine and Tein S-Tech.

Do any of these offer different ride heights.

Can Spring Rates be customized? If so, what does everyone recommend?

I was thinking, 5kg/4kg. Tein offer 3.7kb/4kg. Thoughts?

Thank you :P

Why do you want to change the springs if you already have adjustable shocks?

Shouldn't the adjustable shocks have springs on it?

Me and a friend changed his R32 GTR standard springs with Tein coil overs. It was quite good in fact. Had the nice smooth ride from the stock shocks with a lower ride height and kept a decent handling with the coil overs.

Basically a good mixture of both.

adjustable shocks are not coilovers. the shocks and springs are separate.

you would change the springs to lower the centre of gravity to improve cornering, if you werent going to buy coilovers.
