Accord V6 Resistor Pack + Rb26 = Fail

ok, i was told a while back that the accord v6 resistor back (idk if in aus u guys have the accord but its a beefed up honda civic) is a replacement for a stock rb26 resistor pack, for some reason i am completely convinced that this is a complete plug and play affair, so when i get the resistor adn the plugs are slightly differant i am PRETTY pissed, has anyone else used this resistor pack before, i am completely broke, and in the US the resistor packs average around roughly 100bux, the accord one is liek 5 bux is supposed to be ussable, my stupid camera took a shit so i cant really take pics right now either

How is a 4cyc resistor pack going to operate a 6cyc one?

its from a v6 it does have 6 and a power

Cut the plug off and solder it on, I had to install a GTR resistor pack into my RB25 loom when I went with GTR D-jetro and it was a sinch, just cliped the plug off and soldered the wires on, only wire thats critical is the power wire, the other six can go any way round.

I have used integra packs on SR20's before so I dont see why the accord pack wouldnt work on the GTR

on the rb harness anyonw know which one is the power they are all red and white on my plug and i cant find a schimatic in fsm unless i am overlooking

Yeah just stick a test light in there to see which one is live, it is in the RB26 FSM though, look at the ECU wiring chart, its in there it will tell you what pin from the ECU it was, I run my ignition coils and injector power from a dedicated 30A circuit off the ECU relay to ensure I dont get voltage drop as I found a few of them dropping to 11 or 11.5v while the car was running.
