not sure in the gtr but the gtst is rated for 187kw at the motor and 150 atw sorry could answer your question buddy

hey thanks, is the gtst 4WD or rear wheel? im guessing the gtr would loose more being 4WD????

Debatable, if the transfer case is in good condition, power loss should be minimal, its heavily debated though and there have been a few topics on the forum covering this.

The conclusion was its not percentage based, more like 60KW or more or less (I'll just approximate it to 60 :)).

And some people like DirtGarage had run RWD then AWD and lost 1KW.

Others have lost more but its often different dyno or different day or et cetera....

the difference in the R32 gts4 was 891 @all four and 690 @ rw dur to lack of traction. so its debatable. what the loss would be through the transfer, for the earlier gtrs and gts4's id say 20% of motor out put and for the latter lodels 10 to 15% and for the new 2007-8 gtrs the difference is less than 10 kw for the new R35 skylines regardless of the power out put.

hmmm so you think the early models are percentage based? i kinda dont get it sorry, so if you increase engine power, the transmission, transfercase, diffs take more power from the engine, wouldnt be a set figure they draw from the engine?
