Hi, I'm interested to know what general requirements there are for paricipating in sprints. e.g. club memberships, fire extinguishers, secondary bonnet restraints, CAMS licences etc.

I'm not into racing, just want to sprint for a bit of fun. I've been to Winton on a Friday and that was OK, but a looong way and a looong day. Seemed pretty lax in terms of requirements. Pretty much just needed the cash and a helmet.

Advice on calendars for sprints and hill climbs would be good too.

Thanks for that. The location of the firs extinguisher sounds good (in the footwell of the rear passenger, hard up on the bottom of the seat). I might be off the topic in this area, but any tips on how to install it? I guess you have to mechanically fix, and I'd be concerned about what I'm accidentally fixing into.

Any advice?

Put the bolt that holds the seat in through the bracket on your fire extinguisher.

Dezz, I can't see what you mean? I want to mount it in the rear passenger side footwell, hard back against the vertical section. I can't find any bolts in that area.
