springs are $150 a pair so for the sake of $300 you would rather an oxy!

how the hell did you afford an r33 in the first place? did your mum buy it for you?

Hey just curious

I was thinking instead of buying lowered king springs etc because i want a custom height for my car, of just heating up the springs with an oxy accetelene blow torch.

Ive done this previously on my vn commy couple years back

Ive got a r33 series 1 1993 skyline with standard suspension

What do youse think? And im on a very tight budget haha

I know it's old post, but anyway... all you gonna end up is a weirdly uneven ride height, like in my case... My car is about 2cm lower on drivers side compared to passenger side. and I didn't do it on purpose, just shit old worn out springs.... I had to order custom made new stock height springs because you can't find new ones anywhere

by heating up the springs and allowing them to cool on there own will be like normalizing

this will lower the car but it will also soften the springs and they will be less stiff

my suggestion is buy some springs or cut the original ones
