I have on the way 18x10 +18s Workd Xd9s...

But they dont come with nuts. So ive looked around at like the rays nuts, work nuts and the group buy nuts.

What is the differences between them all? Why would i pay more for one over another??? Which are better?

Also what type/size would i need for these rims and to fit a GTR R33?

Cheers

You need to get the nuts with the thread pitch of 12x1.25.

The ones you see for sale at ~$200 a set, I think you're just paying for the name and light weight of the nuts. Not 100% sure on that one. :)

I have to say that when they said 'light weight', I didn't expect it to be that light. I was shocked at how light they were. I paid ~$120 for a set of blue Ray lock nuts from yahoo auctions Japan.

I'm not 100% sure on the 31s thread pitch, but I would take a guess and say that it's 12x1.25 too. Most Nissans are. The S13s are 12x1.25.

Nissans are usually 12x1.25 whereas Toyotas are 12x1.5. Best to trial fit though before buying. Just get someone who owns a Toyota and try their nut. It should screw in, but then go hard, I wouldn't recommend pushing it in any further for obvious reason. haha

Ok thanks... BUt lets face it wheel nuts arent heavy to start off with.... Alloy ones no good??

Aparently they can't cope with the loads for circuit work and I have read that the fine print on the packaging tells you not to you them for motorsport....

No problem for street use though.

The RAYS Duraluminium nuts need to be hand tightened, or otherwise you'll destroy the thread. If I remember correctly, they're meant to be torqued in the low 90Nm range.

I also destroyed a set...by letting tyre monkeys at the shop use rattle guns on them.
