Wakefield Park Track Day 16/9/03- all welcome (organised by OZ GTI-R Owners Club)

Recommended Posts

Everyone attending the Trackday is having a meetup to go over a few things.

You dont *have* to come or anything. But it would be good if you could...

Sunday the 31st of AUG at gay I mean BRAY'S BAY RESERVE we will meet and we can sort out all unpaid deposits I think that 2pm is a good time to meet as well. That means no one can use going out late as an excuse for not showing.

Also another topic will be travelling down there. As I understand that some want to go on Sunday night and others early Tuesday morning.

Now the Deposit amount is still $50 the other owning money will be payable on the day.

What I would like is EVERYONE that is attending the day to please show up even if your deposit has been paid. It will help me out alot as I will also be able to have a final confirm numbers.

See you all there

Sam

im there!! organised through another forum, but im there 100%!

also, my cousin is bringing down his TVR chimarea (anyone familiar with Gran Turismo will kno about TVR's)... british hand built road car (designed for the track..). RWD wit over 200kw, 1000kgs, tiny wheelbase and coilovers stock - its a little beast!!!

should be an awesome day - i cant wait!!!

I bags joy rides in the TVR all day:D

When in the UK the first thing i did when i got off the plane was grab an Auto Trader, then try rental places to see if i could hire a TVR for a day. (Ive got issues...:stupid: )

I was after a Cerbera, cant go past the 8s m8:D

Yeah its the front strut brace michael. the only problem is that just jap called me the other day and said that the manager had already sold that one when he wasn't there so I now can't have it :( but he is sending me one of the $89 ones with a free nismo sticker :) does the same thing I guess

I actually lived in England for 8 years.

So i know the TVR well.

You can actually pick up a chimera quite cheap over there these days... I've pondered the thought. lol :D

lol - Mate the Nismo sticker will make it go faster!!!! :)

Hey Mark/Slo 200,

Sorry for my lakc of reply (slo) and call (Mark).

I was out till late Friday night, woke up Sat felling like crap. Felt worse as the day went on, went to the doctor, the did test, got worse on Sunday, went back monday, results showed a bad staph infection :) So I've been at home, in bed sick these last 5 days.

I'll be on top of things from tomorrow, and will sort you guys out :)

    • I believe there was a similar one posted by @duggyphresh. They were re-routing their battery positive cable in the way I am also trying to achieve. Sorry, I’m new to this forum, so was a bit late to the party by a few months and so reignited the old thread, as I wanted to know how they got on with doing it.
    • Wasn't there a thread on this very subject just a few weeks ago?
    • Hi all! Looking to relocate the battery to the trunk of an R34 GTT. I want to do it using as many stock GTR components as I can (including the harness protectors from the 34 GTR that run underneath along the chassis to the engine bay). So far I’ve purchased the battery tray from a 33 GTR, as the captive weld nuts are already there just asking to be used. There is also the slight issue of now having to relocate the ABS/TC/Fuel Pump Control ECU, which in GTT’s sits right above where the battery will then sit on the tray. Has anyone already achieved this, and if you have any pics that you wouldn’t mind sharing? It would be great to see how others have done it and where you put them, as there are countless holes in the parcel shelf panel to potentially use. Just trying to get some ideas bounced around, and to help uncover any potential problems I may encounter by  my choice of location. TIA for any help!
    • Brand was ard.   I also threw a brand new battery at it and beefed up the wire from the alternator to battery and added an extra earthing point from the battery
