S1 R33 At Idle Dropping Out

Hey peeps,

I have a ser1 r33 manual, and ive noticed that when sitting at the lights the revs would cut out, but it would be so quick the rev on the dash wont pick it up, sometimes it does it heaps and sometimes it doesnt do it at all, its not normally when driving only ever experienced it happen like twice and thats as i take off revs below 2k.

I think it does it more and more after i have just flogged it. I have a cat back exhaust a bov and a pod filter and that is it.

Any help guy? I have done a search but couldnt find anything about this perticular error.

Mine does this too I had a recent thread in General Maintanence forum call Idle Weirdness.. Have a look its on the first page or two and has some ideas \ comments.

cant find it bro, forgot to add i cleaned my AFM with contact cleaner, it wasnt dirty to start with though.

Not really any sure fixes in there but a few things to check \ think about!

sorry to hijack your thread but mine also does similar if not the same thing.

when i pull up to my driveway it idles low and makes a beep/whine while it is idling low then stops when the rpm go up.

Anyone had this/heard to this??

CAR: R33 S1 Stock bar: Catback, k+n panel.

well after a service , including new plugs (old ones where totally screwed) some new oil Motul 4100 and a oil filter we are good to rip, car idles perfect doesnt miss a beat so happy!

hey i had the same problem, try cleaning your aac valve then see if it still does it?
