R34 Manual Conversion

Hey guys,

Just wondering I want to convert my car from auto to manual and want an estimate on the price for the parts i'll need and also if there are any places in the liverpool area that specialise in these kinds of conversions. Also planning to use all r34 parts also. I seen some threads that use r33 gearboxs but i want quotes on simply r34. Also if possible any workshops that can get these parts and also fit.

parts = 1500 (just use r33 parts)

labour = 800-1000.

greg at autosports quoted me 1000 for labour.

i got quoted an estimate of approx 3500 for all r34 parts.

Greg at Autosports did mine and also at least 2 other R34's that I know of. I sourced my own parts so I couldn't tell you the cost of those sorry. He will be able to tell you which ones to get though. Lucky you guys get the experience that Autosports gained with earlier cars because I paid more than that. Totally happy with the job in case you're curious.

$1500 for the parts tell me where thats cheep as ., the box is worth more !

a typical kit cost approx $2 -2.5k for good r33 parts

hmm i have seen manual conversion kits of r33's go for 1500 bucks.

lately theyve been selling close to 2k, but theyve come with brand new cllutches and/or other aftermarket accessories.

The box alone is worth at least $1500.
