What are you talking about paying for the air?

Its re-circ...

R31Nismoid I will pay for the air if I leave it vent it to the air. Yes if I use it as re-circ I will not pay for the air

Hmmm as you said that many don't have bovs I will stay for begin with no bov (as I like it more!! :D better sound and sure that it will not leak) and when I will have money I will buy also a bov!

For now I need two new discs for my second hand twin plate and an oil cooler kit!! :D

Id run a blow off valve if i were u mate, but i like to play it save (ime prosektikos), still lots of people think they arent necessary, but every major car company with highly skilled engineers thinks they are....so make up ur own mind.

Go for a Greddy Type R, a few of the guys that really know their stuff approve of them

What part of Greece? Ive got family in Athens, and some in Arcadia

Lots of people think they aren't necessary, but every major car company with highly skilled engineers thinks they are....so make up ur own mind.

Car manufactures fitting them, i think is more to do with noise... more then turbo health. I too have a handful of anti BOV mates with 340+rwkw rota's... non with turbo issues. Personally for me, a large framed turbo makes too much noise without a BOV.

If a type R is too small and you don't want two of them, give the Vortech units a look in.

No debate, they need to be plumbed back, but how does the turbos positioning effect it? :(:)

An example that comes to mind is a famous dark metallic blue Perth 10sec BNR32 with a Z and OEM BOV's.

well its actually black and has blue flake :)

plus he was using rb20afm's so a venting bov would play around with his idle

was engineered around a problem to find a solution... it can be done and works, but a lot easier and better solution would be a type-r

I ran no BOV on my stock rb20det with front facing plenum. Not the best idea I think. Turbo is leaking oil now. And you can get oil into your AFM with no BOVs. So you better run one. They didn't make them for nothing.

And you are sure that the turbo leaking because you don't have a bov?

Nissan S13 180sx with CA18DET works WITHOUT any bov from nissan!!!!

With T25-0.65bar-170hp! No problems with turbo..

Also I work it to 1.1bar with supporting mods 250hp without bov and without problems... and the turbo still works great in an other car because I put GT28R and I didn't have any problems with the gt28r at 1.4bar with supporting mods 350hp in the ca18det too!

But because RB26 is a big engine and T04Z is a big turbo I ask about it because maybe can damage this turbo!

Your rb20 I don't think that the turbo blown was because you don't run a bov...

Apo piso re malaka...

that is as far ass my Greek goes. :D

what will be the main purpose for your car?

how often will it see that 27psi?

you have a full engine build and big money spent.

just spend another $500 to get the type R bov and plumb it back in between the turbo and MAF.

it just runs better with the air kept in the system as it is designed for.

if you had a map sensor, then I'd say just vent it as it doesn't really matter.

don't skimp out now.
