Rb30 Wont Keep Running

hi to all i dont normally frequent these forums but i need help

my daughters boyfriends mothers skyline (1990 model with RB30) motor while it will start and run for a few seconds wont keep running the fuel pump powers up and then cuts out after about 5 seconds then the car stops. are these pumps triggered via the dissy or is there something else to look for

mayb try changin the fuel pump had a mates r31 doin similar to what ur one is i replaced fuel pump and she fired first go.

plenty of info there. but sorta sounds like fuel regulator. if ya clamp the return fuel hose does it run longer/better at all?
