sorry to jack again.

when i sit on the freeway after a while my light HICAS light pops on, or if i go hard through a few corners it lights up... does this mean i have to check the fluids or go get that diagnostic work done??

cheers

Check your fluid front (under the bonnet) and back (In the boot).

Wheel alignment

Caster and Tyre Rods

Then Diagnostics.

So yeah pretty much what we all have been talking about. Get it check and see how you go.

so does the light only comes on when there is an issue?

Yeah, most likely.

I can't think of anything else.

Well yeah,

you got ABS, HICAS, 4WD, Battery, Exhaust Temp, Hand Brake and Doors.

BTW Exhaust Temp I would not worry about. I was never too sure why they had that. To check how hot the exhaust is maybe..? Yes they do heat up... But if you get an aftermarket exhaust on there then it won't matter LOL!

All the lights that come on in the dash, they are the things to look out for.

As long as you get your car serviced at 5000km everytime, you sould not have any problems.

BTW just check your other fluids from time to time. ie. Engine oil, brake, clutch and radiator fluids (Green liquid in the resivour).

Yeah I have that Owner manual, something like 800+ pages on cd.
