Increasing Rb26 To 9ish To 1 Compression

I have a rb26 that I'm about to pull out of a gtr I have with low comp on 6th

Just wondering where I could source some pistons to raise the compression to around 9:1. If its feasable I might build it and put it in my street/track car. I don't mind having just over 300rwkw. Just hoping to make it a little more responsive and fun to drive around the streets. I'm guessing I can make this type of power with the -5 turbos I have running around 20psi. The plan was to run a little more compression and less boost to make the power.

Does this require expensive pistons or are they the same price as general forged pistons with a 020" overbore?

-5's will make 300rwkw on a lot less than 20psi Gareth

20psi would see 350rwkw give or take so you'd need a lot less boost.

Im running 9.0:1 compression in my rb26. Ive got CP pistons (20 thou over) with an 1mm headgasket.

Its great on the street, even with my gt35r and 1.06 turbine housing. Im making about 360kw at 17 psi.

If i remember correctly, don't they machine their pistons from cosworth blanks?
