Hey guys, i have a set of Aragosta fully adjustable coilovers on my 34, came on it from Japan.

My question is, when tightening the top ring where the spring is, how tight should that be

ie should i tighten the ring up until the spring sits snugly in place, or should i be compressing the spring and tightening the ring so the spring is compressed? if so, how compressed should it be?

Just want to make sure its setup properly as i want to head to the track pretty soon

Cheers

The spring needs to be "captive", ie have some compression on it, when the suspension is at full droop.

BUT

The suspension you have is designed to allow the weight of the car can be evenly distributed across the 4 corners. So, it's not a matter of simply tightening the spring seats. You need to get the car corner weighted, particularly if you intend to take it to the track. An unbalanced car will handle worse than crap.
