Out Of Interest: In a non-medical EMERGENCY, would you allow your girlfriend or wife to drive your precious Skyline (whilst you're at work) or would you call a taxi/mate instead ??

I had to allow my ex to drive my 64 Dodge with big block, stall, etc. She got it out of it's hidey hole without scratching it (35-40mm each side) and came to the rescue...of me driving her Celica that had a busted fuel pump lol. She had no idea how to change a tyre on her MGB with centre lock nut but she could drive...a bit. She might have trouble with the clutch in the Line though. I'm toying with the 16yr old hairdresser in my house driving the Line when it gets it's P's...in a massive carpark.

Chicks will surprise you

It is really down to the individual.

My wife gets scared when she is driving the GTST when it comes on boost and she is just plain frightened when she is asked to drive the GTR. Put her in her own car and she puts the boot into it all the time - so it is just what you are comfortable with.

By the same token some of the female SAU members are very impressive behind the wheel and would give any of the guys a run for their money. “Sinful” - Jessica is one who comes to mind who is a better driver when the pedal is on the floor that most of the guys on this site as reflected by her times at track days.

I've let two of my X's drive my car..

The french one was used to the European side of things and was about half a metre away from parked cars at all times.. 100m and I told her to gtfo.

Other X was fine, a little hesitant to drive it hard, but did well none the less.
